Background

Dave is a professional rock/jazz bassist out of Houston, TX. His main work consists of full-time bassist for the band, The Fallout, formerly known as Moriah. Dave is also finds time to teach bass, offering an innovative and fun approach to learning the bass. He teaches students on variety of different musical levels and across many different spectrums. Dave has also gotten some recognition in the studio as well, having played on, as well as co-written, 2 full-length nationally recognized albums. He has also worked on numerous projects around town. He started out self-taught with natural and God-given talent at a young age and was later mentored by the great jazz bassist, Keith Vivens. You can catch him playing and hanging at different venues and with different bands around town, from the Engine Room (downtown), to Helios on Westheimer.
