Kym Smith she's beautiful, aggressive, angry, passionate, tender, and compelling as well as a little shy. A description of the perfect women, you want her, can’t live without her, and wonder why she left you when the song ends. Kym's hot, and sings like a siren, with a stage presense unmatched.  Influenced by such vocalist as Chaka Chan, Ann Wilson, Tina Turner, Chris Cornell, Chris Robinson, Stevie Nicks and Gladys Knight she brings forth a sound that is undeniably intense, soulful, and arresting. Kym has a big, powerful, commanding voice that has been compared to many reigning divas of the music world.  The connections are not hard to hear, but Kym is a fully realized artist in her own right. She cut her teeth on the touring seen with the Black Crowes. Because of this experience she's toured with artist, such as Aerosmith, Lenny Kravizt, Oasis, Richard Marks and many others. She Released her first CD single (COLORS) available on CDBABY.COM 2007. Smith strives to transcend the stereotype placed in front of her and I believe she's bringing it---Hard! Smith says what she has to say is real and from the soul and she strives to put that energy in every song she sings.

She's a member of ASCAP as a song writer and publisher. She's sung in several of Houstons venues ranging from small dinner resturants such as(The Post Oak Grill, Sullivans Steak house (Ringside) ect.)to arenas and stadiums such as (The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavillion, Arena Theater ect.). Performing with local artist like  "Bobby Lyle, Scott Gertner, Joe Carmouch, Kyle Turner, and Kenneth Mondshine", to name a few she is well known all over the city of Houston.
