STAN'S original music is played on radio stations, in and out of town. STAN has performed at The Wortham Center, Billy Blues, The Velvet Elvis, Erma's Southwest Grill, Sullivan's Steakhouse, The Cotton Club, La Strada, Birraporetti's and the list goes on ! He's had articles written about him & has had radio interviews.

STAN "THE MAN" started REFLEX BAND in 1991 with a strong desire to perform a wide array of music; everything from Motown/R&B to Country to Big Band tunes of the 50's & 60's and everything in between and up to date !

STANLEY GISTAND is a fine-tuned, seasoned veteran who has been performing since he was eighteen years old. STAN is not content to just be a local band. He has been rigidly committed to his dreams. Future plans for REFLEX BAND include preparation for a European tour that is being launched for Spring 2007.

STAN is in the studio working on his new CD that is scheduled to be released in 2007. The REFLEX BAND RESUME includes La Strada Restaurant, Birraporetti's Italian Restaurant, Pappadeaux on The Waterfront, Tokyohana Japanese & Sushi Restaurant, Sulivan's Steak House & a host of many others.

Private events include functions for Deborah Duncan, our Channel 11 SUPER NEWSCASTER & PERSONALITY ! and Carolyn Farb's Book Signing and her private SUPRISE Birthday Party of 2006, The I Have A Dream Foundation, Bay Area City Ballet Company, Bay Oaks Country Club, St. Luke's Hospital, M.D.Anderson Hospital, Sak's Fifth Avenue, Halliburton Oil & Gas and the list continues.

STAN works as a freelance vocalist, on the occasion that a band needs a strong lead vocalist or an extra singer for an evening.
