Background

Steven Brown is a professional musician adept in a variety of intstruments including bass, guitar, and violin . Steven holds a BA degree from The New School Jazz Studies Progam in New York City with a main focus on improvisation and arranging. Steven currently performs with artists such as Abenaa, Tom Freund, Tody Castillo,Theo Eastwind, Slim Francis  and  Anthony  and  the Johnsons. His performance and arranging skills can be heard on the latest Slim Francis record.  Most recently Steven has collaborated with grammy nominated producer and engineer Jay Bennet from the band Wilco performing on the violin and upright bass.
