Background

John Chaney, one of Houston's best all-around musicians. John's abilities encompass acoustic and electric guitar, alto and tenor saxophone, keyboards, and he can't be rivaled on the flute. His musical career goes back to junior high school where he started his musical legacy on the trumpet. This beginning prepared him for the musical challenges he faces today. John's musical abilities are ever changing. We may look up tomorrow and see him playing violin.

John has been inspired by musical greats such as Grover Washington, Ronnie Laws, Stevie Wonder, Nat King Cole, and George Benson to name a few.

John adds to the sounds of Acoustic Love on flute, alto saxophone, tenor saxophone, keyboards, lead guitar, lead vocals, and background vocals.
