Background

A native Houstonian, David Hillendahl played all over the city during the 1970's and early 1980's before embarking on a series of national tours keeping him on the road for more than a decade. A theatrical specialist, he played shows in nearly every venue in Houston during the "dinner theatre" years, as well as Theatre Under the Stars, Houston Music Theatre, and The Great Caruso. In addition, David toured extensively with pianist Roger Williams, singer Maureen McGovern, and classic rockers The Coasters before returning to his hometown to resume teaching. Also a Rhythm Therapist, he continues to conduct Drum Circles for school districts, rehabilitation hospitals, and major corporations across Texas, New Mexico, and California.
