Background

Demmer is beginning his ninth year as Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown's sax player. He has toured all over the world with "Gate" performing in countries such as Africa, Japan, Europe, China, Norway, and many more. One of the highlights was the opening spot with Gatemouth for the "From the Cradle" world tour in 1995 with Eric Clapton. He has also performed on stage with many great musicians such as Jimmy McGriff, Slash, The Allman Brothers, B.B King and the Montreaux Jazz All Stars, Johnnie Johnson (the Father of Rock and Roll, according to Keith Richards)and David Sanborn, among others. When not touring with Gatemouth, Demmer performs with Scott Gertner at the Skybar and occasionally returns to his original roots as a sound engineer. Eric is currently working on his album that is to be released in the spring of 2002.
