Background

Percussionist, director, trumbone player and singer. Born in Manhattan NYC. Second son of seven brothers. Learned my chops and love of latin muscic in Puerto Rico. In 1972 I moved to San Francisco and earned the opportunity to play with the ledgenary musicians at Cesars Club in North Beach. In 1977 my music took me to Los Angeles where played for the next 20 years. With Johnny Martinez and local studio work. Currently I am in Houston as Director of Rico Jazz and consultant to Jose Diaz Music Insitute.
