Background

During the ‘70s I was a young up and coming trombonist in Houston. Although classically trained, a student of Albert Lube, my first professional opportunities came with dance bands. This lead me to a successfull career as a free-lance trombonist. Then at a time when I was laying the initial ground work for a move to the west coast I unwittingly made a decision that took me out of music altogether. Now some twenty years later I have turned my life upside-down and carved out one more chance for me to make it as a professional trombonist. I have set a personal goal of becoming recognized as one of the top one-hundred trombonist in the world.
